Most people’s weight will fluctuate for various reasons. Some people’s weight fluctuates with the season. Winter is usually a +15 pounds , if you are lucky, summer comes with at least -15 pounds. Some people will lose or gain weight due to life changing events. Having a baby is a guaranteed +40 pounds at least. Breaking up with someone is usually a -10 pounds. Getting married is a +20 pounds at least. Getting divorced is a crap shoot +/- 25 in either direction depending on the circumstances surrounding the split.
Believe it or not, once upon a time I was a size 2-4. So looking back I remember why I used to be thin. It’s because I hated everything that is delicious. I remember I hated butter cream icing so much I usually removed it from Oreo cookies. If someone offered me a double meat bacon cheese burger I would look at it like it was a heart-attack on plate (in actuality this is probably what it is. ) I would never eat a double chocolate dessert either, such as ice cream cake.
I’ve come to terms with my added padding where it counts and actually accepted it. Plus life is a lot more fun when you can enjoy the delicious things. The real secret is to enjoy everything in moderation and love your self for who you are and where you are at.
