Have you ever woken up on day feeling as though you are buried a live in your own home Now it’s probably not bad enough that someone would call the people at Hoarders to bring it to your attention; yet sometimes we’re surrounded by too much stuff. Where does it all come from. My husbandand I did complete overhaul of our apartment the other day. I’ve come to find out we have a desk in our room. Just kidding but seriously I have just as many bottles of hair spray as I do bottles of moisturizer, and even more r om bottles with less than a weeks worth of anything in them. We found boxes for products we’ve owned since before we were married. Everything was piled high in corners and tables and it made the apartment all that smaller. It’s strange to think about all the thing you have that are seemingly garbage. I found pages and pages of bank statement, insurance statements, bills we pay online, all accounts settled and up date before the paper copy arrives. Yet for some reason they send you a paper copy as a reminder of how much you’ve paid to them.
It feels good to get things in order. I’ve always enjoyed cleaning. Not so much the action of it but more the result. Yes whenever you feel as though you have no control of a situation you can always take control of your setting. Being organized and having a firm grip on something, even it it’s as trivial as your desk, can put everything into perspective. Being in control of your surroundings makes everything else a little more manageable no matter how big the feat.
